Community Impact

By the Community for the Community…

As always we would love to look after your next training or conference event at the New Life Centre.

We work extensively in partnership with many local organisations to help those in our community as much as we can. If you know of anyone that requires support or help then please get in touch. For example, if you need a food parcel for an individual or family, then we can help.

"Many people do not understand what the Big Society is all about. But its projects exactly like these which embody the community spirit which the Prime Minister and I wish to promote. I commend everyone at the New Life for their hard work and dedication supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our community."

Your support helps us to run a very extensive range of community activities as profits from all bookings help sustain the following initiatives. Your booking makes a difference to our local community. Thank you!

  • Sleaford & North Kesteven Food Bank - New Life Community Larder provides at least 3 meals for 3 days in an emergency food parcel for those in desperate need.
  • The Junction - Monday evenings from 7pm until 9pm. Providing home cooked meals for those who are homeless, vulnerable & lonely and providing recreational activities to participate in.
  • Sleaford Youth Centre - Friday evenings from 7pm until 9pm. Providing positive activities for young people aged 11-18 years in our town.
  • CAP Money – Christians Against Poverty - Providing free basic housekeeping budgeting training to those who would like to learn how to manage their money a bit better.
  • Senior Citizens Special Events - Arranging free themed events for the over 60's throughout the year.

New Life currently sits on the 'NKDC Homelessness Forum' which brings together local representatives from different agencies to consider the issues affecting people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness with an aim to improve the services they receive and options available to them.

If you are a non profit making charity or community group then we would love to offer you highly discounted rates, so you can concentrate on supporting the local community. We also sponsor events free of charge & financially support individual groups. Get in touch for more information.
