Rod Munro

General Manager & Managing Director

It was Rod’s vision to see this vibrant company start out in 2006. He brings with him a great deal of commercial experience from over 25 years within the hospitality industry. Rod had developed his role over 17 years within Marriott International from being Executive Head Chef to the role of Director of Operations, before leaving and committing his time to the New Life Conference Centre.

Rod says Hebrews chapter 13, verse two sums up his philosophy on offering great British hospitality perfectly: “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by doing so, some people have entertained angels without knowing it”. We welcome anyone and everyone to the centre. We want to exceed great hospitality by treating everyone as individuals and doing our very best for them.

Personally he is also passionate in serving the local area through many community projects that he oversees through New Life Community Impact.

Front of House Manager

At New Life we don’t adopt the one-size-fits-all approach. Instead we appreciate the importance of flexibility which is why we have a dedicated team to listen to your requirements & see how they can be met. You are assured a very warm welcome from Cameron who is our Front of House Manager. From the moment you walk in, you will be welcomed and looked after by his fantastic team. On the day we will work with you to help make your event a success. In fact, we will do as much or as little as you like.
